What if the problem seems to follow you into every relationship?

Long standing patterns can make every relationship feel like another version of the same story. Closeness becomes intense, distance feels unbearable, anger arrives before thought, or you disappear emotionally and understand what happened only days later.

Many people have spent years being told they are too much, too sensitive, manipulative, cold or simply the problem. A diagnosis may have added shame without explaining anything useful. Others have read everything about attachment and still cannot stop the pattern while it is happening.

Why has short term advice not changed these patterns?

Patterns formed across years cannot usually be replaced by communication tips or insight alone. They once protected against abandonment, humiliation, chaos or dependence, so they become strongest at the exact moment a person most wants to behave differently.

Treatment can stall when it focuses only on the latest crisis, labels emotion as excessive or promises rapid change. The work needs enough structure and time to connect present reactions with their function, while building safer ways to regulate them now.

What does long term therapy for personality difficulties involve?

The work begins with a comprehensive assessment of emotional regulation, identity, attachment, trauma, dissociation, relationships and risk. A diagnosis can be considered when useful, but the main task is to understand how the pattern formed and what it is protecting against.

Sessions combine practical regulation work with close attention to what happens between us. If you expect criticism, withdrawal or abandonment, that expectation will eventually enter the therapy relationship. We examine it directly and repair misunderstandings rather than treating them as failure.

Schema informed and depth oriented work helps identify old relational expectations. Skills drawn from structured approaches can create a pause between feeling and action. Culture, family roles, faith and migration are included where they shape identity and attachment.

Can personality patterns really change over time?

Personality patterns can change, but the work is usually measured in sustained practice rather than a quick result. Early progress may be recognising the pattern sooner, recovering from an emotional surge faster or returning to a relationship after conflict instead of ending it immediately.

Over time, people may develop a steadier sense of self and a wider range of responses. Progress is rarely straight. A difficult period does not erase earlier change, but it does give us information about what still needs attention.

How do I know whether online long term therapy is suitable?

Suitability depends on stability, current risk, privacy and whether adequate local support is available when needed. The first assessment is used to decide this honestly rather than assuming online work is right for everyone.

Online sessions are available in English and Arabic for clients living across Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada, subject to applicable professional and legal requirements. Please tell me where you are living when you first write.

Psychotherapy is planned care rather than emergency support. If you are in immediate danger or unable to keep yourself safe, contact your local emergency service or nearest emergency department.

Between sessions

Real therapy does not end when the call ends

A session lasts fifty minutes a week. But old patterns, strong sensitivity and reactions you later regret show up in your relationships and daily situations, when you notice yourself acting in ways you want to change.

That is why you have your own private space between our sessions. It holds practical, guided tools chosen for your experience and opened with you one step at a time, so each week turns into clear steps that our next session can build on.

A pathway designed for you

Balance & Inner Safety

Ride strong emotions without drowning, and feel steady in yourself and your relationships.

Authentic Self

Moving beyond the mask toward steady worth, real closeness and inner peace.

The focus areas, the tools and the order in which they open are decided together after we understand your situation, and they change as you change.

Support in the difficult moment

Clear practical exercises you can open on your phone the moment things build up, instead of trying to remember a theory.

Shaped around your pace

There is no ready made template. We choose and open the tools together based on what you are going through, without rushing or overload.

Progress you can see

Your own words and ratings over time, so we both notice what is really changing and adjust the plan with shared understanding.

A safe and closed space

Only your therapist sees what you write. No algorithms, no advertising trackers, no public profiles.
